| Since starting Fitness 4u classes 6 months ago, I have noticed a significant improvement in flexibility and strength. I had difficulty bending, but can now easily paint my toe nails!!! I was also thrilled to find that after digging the garden I didn't have the normal lower back pain. | ||||||||

| Simple the best – better than all the rest! I am misquoting a song from my youth, however it is true! John’s circuit classes are the best classes I have ever attended. Over the years I have enjoyed aerobics, aqua fit, Pilates and many other fitness classes but I have never enjoyed any as much as John’s circuit classes – AND THEY WORK. | ||||||||

| I have always hated sport of any kind but realised I needed to do something about my mobility. John was recommended to me as a personal trainer. I was impressed immediately that he actually listened to what I wanted to achieve and has geared his exercise routine accordingly. He is always encouraging and supportive and has gradually increased the intensity of each session without me really noticing. I actually look forward to training; John has made such a difference to my well being and confidence. I cannot recommend him highly enough as someone who really cares about what he does and the results that he achieves. He makes all the hard work fun and worthwhile. | ||||||||

I was motivated into doing some exercise by the need to fit into my wedding dress! I have done some sport on and off since I left school; netball, swimming and occasionally taking up gym membership but then paying and not going and feeling guilty about it. I also didn't really like gyms much when I was there.... I wanted to find something that would help me keep on top of my weight and that I would stick at and enjoy... and I've found it! John has been training me for over a year and I’ve really enjoyed it. He's introduced me to running which was something I was deeply sceptical of before... but I now really see the benefits (and I've had no injuries). John has also shown me how to tone up safely using 'bands', mat work (sit ups etc), boxing and sometimes weights. When I went to gyms I never did the toning exercises because I didn't know how to do them safely or correctly and I was self-conscious. Now I'll happily go to the circuit training classes that John runs, as an extra session, and feel confident in what I'm doing. I've really felt the positive benefits of regular personal training and my husband has caught the bug too..... after 6 years of doing little exercise he now joins me twice a week! Positive behaviour definitely breeds positive behaviour! |

| I can think of nothing worse than a gym, all those worthy and fit people exercising in a tin box on an industrial estate, never mind the cost! However, after 6 years with virtually no exercise and the resulting slow but steady increase in my weight, I decided enough was enough. Encouraged by my wife, I started seeing John on a personal training basis around 8 months ago. As this was all very new, John was very reassuring and made sure I understood what and how to do each exercise as well as making sure I warmed up and cooled down properly to avoid any injury. As well as bands, some weights and mat work, I have graduated onto boxing and now running. Over the eight months my fitness has improved whilst my weight is gradually reducing - a winning formulae! | ||||||||

| I have been training with John a couple of months now; I started off once a week personal training and then more and more got into it. Recently I have also been going to John’s Thursday evening circuit training class.
